TALKIN’ TOONS WITH ROB PAULSEN, FAN FAVORITE TALK SHOW, FINDS A NEW HOME AT ESPORTS ARENA
Esports Arena is proud to announce Rob Paulsen’s podcast sensation Talkin’ Toons is coming back to our Twitch and YouTube! The new iteration of the show combines staples beloved to the series, as well as some brand new gaming elements! Fans can expect Rob Paulsen to play video games as his characters, a multitude of guests from the voice acting and video game spheres to make special appearances, and never-before-done audience involvement to really personalize the show’s experience.
For some background…Talkin’ Toons was originally launched as a podcast in 2017. Hosted and created by Rob Paulsen, voice actor for a multitude of beloved shows and characters, including: Yakko Warner in Animaniacs, Carl Wheezer in Jimmy Neutron, Pinky in Pinky and the Brain, and Donatello and Raphael in multiple iterations of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The show was extremely well-received and had a massive following during its three seasons from 2017-2019.
“As I have said in the past, the best voice actors all have a live performance background. And are competent, fearless, incredibly creative actors,” says Rob Paulsen, creator of Talkin’ Toons. “With this new show I will again be sharing funny and engaging stories of these amazing voice actors. I couldn’t be more excited to bring Talkin’ Toons to Esports Arena and share these stories with a whole new audience, as well as give my fans what they have been asking for since 2019.”
The first episode of Talkin’ Toons airs June 10th at 8PM PT. You can watch it live every Thursday at 8PM PT here:
S1E1: The first episode will feature Rob Paulsen with special guest and voice actor Maurice LaMarche (Brain from Pinky and the Brain, Morbo/Calculon from Futurama, and Mr. Big from Zootopia), a segment for answering fan-submitted questions via Esports Arena’s Twitter, and, as always, plenty of humor.
